WASHINGTON, DC-Republic Properties Corp. has obtained $243 million in construction financing to develop Portals III in Southwest DC. Cassidy Turley arranged the deal for Republic Properties. The brokerage firm brought five banks to provide the bridge loan for the development.

Republic was able to secure an attractive financing package due to several factors, including its efforts to lease the 509,716-square-foot structure at 1201 Maryland Ave. SW.
