FAIRFAX, VA-The Washington Post reported that the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has approved Capital One's plans to expand its corporate offices in Tysons Corner. This is one of the premier projects to gain rezoning under a master plan that intends to redevelop Tysons.

Capital One's proposed plans call for four high-rise apartment buildings with almost 1,200 units, 3.1 million square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, a hotel, playgrounds, plazas, parks, parking structures, bicycle routes and new streets.
