BOSTON-The Frye Co. is preparing to open its new store on the former Charley's Eating & Drinking Saloon site in Boston's Back Bay area. The footwear company will occupy 11,000 square feet, or three floors at 284 Newbury St.
Frye's will pay north of $90 per square foot as rent. Charley's closed its restaurant this week after it failed to arrange a new lease. Andrew LaGrega of The Wilder Cos. negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
