
PITTSBURGH-A new 154,000-square-foot Walmart store will come up in Economy, Beaver County. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has been attempting to build the store for nearly six years. The new store will be built near the Northern Lights Shopping Center.
An update on the project was provided by the Tribune-Review. The Beaver County Times reported that beside construction jobs, the Walmart will provide nearly 440 part- and full-time positions when its opens. It is expected to be opened in 2013. For the full story, go to Pittsburgh Business Times .
