
WASHINGTON, DC-Boston Properties has filed a raze permit application to demolish 635 Massachusetts Ave. NW, a 211,000-square-foot headquarters building of National Public Radio, and build a larger office building there. The existing building is valued at $83.4 million.
Boston Properties bought the building for $119.4 million in 2008. Arnold & Porter LLP was in negotiations with Boston Properties to shift its downtown DC offices from 555 12th St. NW to a new, 478,000-square-foot structure at 635 Massachusetts.
