
SARASOTA, FL-Construction is scheduled to start on the University Town Center, a shopping mall in Sarasota, on Monday. Analysts anticipate that the $315-million project will help boost the economic recovery in the region.
The 880,000-square-foot retail center will come up near Interstate 75 at University Parkway and will house major retailers such as Macy's, Dillard's and Saks Fifth Avenue.
