
NEW YORK CITY-Host Hotels & Resorts Inc., which acquired the old New York Helmsley Hotel nearly 18 months ago for $313.5 million, has recently completed the renovation and conversion of the 774-room hotel into The Westin New York Grand Central. The $75-million makeover included the guestrooms, the 3,000-square-foot fitness studio and the 12,000-square-foot meeting space.
