PHILADELPHIA-Ensemble Hotel Partners LLC, headed by developer Louis A. Cicalese, will start construction on a Courtyard by Marriott at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The $34-million, 172-room property will be the first Navy Yard hotel.
Cicalese is working along with Liberty Property Trust/ Synterra LP, the Navy Yard Corporate Center developers, on the hotel project. The new hotel will come up at the corner of Intrepid Avenue and Rouse Boulevard and will include a fitness center, a lounge, a restaurant and a 2,000-square-foot meeting space.
