
WASHINGTON, DC-The JBG Cos. has started site work on a 14-story Hyatt Place hotel in the Capitol Square mixed-use development in the NoMa neighborhood of Washington, DC. The Chevy Chase-based developer started the site work at 33 New York Ave. NE after purchasing the site on September 17 for $5 million.
The 200-room hotel is scheduled to be opened in May 2014. JBG secured a $29.2-million construction loan from Sovereign Bank for the project. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
