
LONDON-The Carlyle Group is intending to submit a planning application for a 1.4-million-square-foot mixed-use development on the south side of the River Thames between the Bankside and South Bank. The new urban town center will comprise 450,000 square feet of office space, 940,000 square feet of residential, 25,000 square feet of retail space and 18,500 square feet of cultural space.
