NEW YORK CITY-Codecademy has signed a five-year lease for 8,700 square feet of office space at 49 W. 27th St. The asking rent for the space, which covers the whole fourth floor, was in the high-$30s per square foot. The new office has sufficient space for growth.
The West 27th Street building is owned by Jonathan Wiener. Bernard Weitzman, a Newmark Grubb Knight Frank broker, represented the tenant and Mark Furst of Cassidy Turley represented the landlord in the lease transaction. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
