SAN DIEGO-Manchester Financial Group, headed by Douglas Manchester, has obtained $27.5 million to refinance the San Diego Union-Tribune's Mission Valley headquarters. The company utilized the proceeds to refinance the three-building mixed-use complex.

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP's San Diego office secured a five-year loan with a correspondent life insurance company. The complex, which has been the longtime headquarters of U-T San Diego, comprises 329,000 square feet. Manchester Financial Group earlier this year announced its plans for a $200-million project.
