WASHINGTON, DC-Brookfield Office Properties Inc. plans to invest $11 million for renovation of its 202,725-square-foot office building situated at 799 Ninth St. NW. Interior demolition work on the building is expected to begin in January 2013 followed by major renovations in March 2013. The cosmetic improvements include the addition of a new fitness center, a rooftop terrace and remodeling of the building's lobby.
