HOUSTON-Transwestern has been awarded the leasing assignment for the 243,348-square-foot 2603 Augusta, a class A office building in the Galleria submarket. Transwestern's assistant vice president Louann Pereira, Doug Little, senior managing director, and Kelli Crutchfield, assistant vice president, will handle the leasing for the property.
CBRE Strategic Partners US Value 5 acquired office building at the corner of Westheimer and Augusta in August 2011 from Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT I Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Behringer Harvard had owned the asset since 2007. At the time of sale, the owner planned to invest some capital in it to improve the amenities and to provide a turnkey office option.
“We are extremely pleased to begin working as the new representative of 2603 Augusta,” Pereira says in a press release. “With the recent building renovations and the exceptional quality of the property, we are looking forward to achieving the leasing goals of our client and maximizing the value of the property.”
