SCOTTSDALE, AZ-Todd Sloan and Theresa Parrish have joined Healthcare Trust of America Inc. as regional easing manager and senior leasing associate, respectively, for the southeast region. In their new positions, Sloan and Parrish will oversee leasing activities for HTA's Georgia and Florida markets, containing assets totaling more than 1.5 million square feet.
The newcomers will work in conjunction with Susan Dorr, HTA's regional vice president of asset management, who oversees the property management, construction management and operations of 3.6 million square feet of properties spread across Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Maryland. This region constitutes nearly 29% of HTA's total portfolio of 12.6 million square feet, and includes a number of HTA's key markets such as Greenville, SC, Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC and Raleigh, NC. The addition of Sloan and Parrish to the doutheast team completes the process of in housing the region's asset management and leasing and enhances HTA's ability to provide quality service to its tenants and strategically partner with health systems and physicians.
Prior to joining HTA, Sloan was vice president of leasing with HealthAmerica Realty Group, where he was responsible for the leasing of properties in 31 different sub-markets in the Metro Atlanta area totaling more than 1.5 million square feet. Sloan successfully completed leases with area hospitals and large physician practices including Piedmont, Northside, WellStar, Emory, & Tenet health systems. He has a BA degree in History from the University of Georgia.
Parrish has worked independently as a landlord and tenant leasing representative for nearly 25 years. She has listed properties for a number of owners and real estate companies including Epi City Real Estate Services, The Simpson Organization, Trizec Properties, The Wynmark Group, Metro Development Corporation and Wilma Realty Services. She has a BS degree in Marketing from Florida State University and has a Georgia broker's license.
