PHOENIX-Commercial real estate veteran Patrick Gallagher has joined Dermody Properties as partner, southwest region.  Gallagher was most recently with the Alter Group, where he served as senior vice president and in his new position, he will be responsible for oversight of Dermody's newly established southwest region office, located here.

During his 30-year industry tenure, Gallagher has completed more than $1.8 billion of industrial and office transactions and has played key roles in the development, leasing and sales of more than 3.9 million square feet of Class A office space and 11.5 million square feet of investment-grade industrial projects. In his new position, Gallagher will focus on the Phoenix, Denver, Texas and Southern California markets.

I look forward to bringing their national development platform to new markets throughout the southwest."

While with the Alter Group, Gallagher was responsible for property identification, business plan development and implementation, and financial, leasing and sales strategies. Prior to joining Alter Group, he served in senior positions at Trammell Crow Co. and Pizzuti Cos. Gallagher has a bachelor's degree in political science from Benedictine University and is a full member of the Urban Land Institute Council and the NAIOP Industrial Forum.
