NEWPORT BEACH, CA-Locally based business and real estate law firm Newmeyer & Dillion LLP has opened a new office in Las Vegas to serve its growing Nevada clientele. The new office will be located in the Hughes Center, a 68-acre business complex in central Las Vegas, and partner Nathan Owens, who specializes in business, real estate and construction litigation, will be at the helm.

The firm, which has more than 60 attorneys practicing in complex business, real estate and insurance litigation and transactions for Fortune 500 companies, medium and small business and nigh-net-worth individuals, has provided trial, business and real estate counsel throughout California for the past 30 years. In addition to its Newport Beach headquarters, Newmeyer & Dillion also has a Northern California office in Walnut Creek.

According to Jeff Dennis, managing partner for the firm, “Opening the Las Vegas office has created an excellent opportunity to be a local asset to clients who conduct business in Nevada. This new office is a result of ongoing client needs and fits well into our growth plans. It is one more avenue to create novel and effective solutions for current and new home-grown clients.”

Founder partner Greg Dillion added in a prepared statement that while Newmeyer & Dillion is likely best known for its construction, real estate and insurance practices, “the new Las Vegas office provides us with another opportunity to showcase the firm's depth as a diversified corporate, transactional and high-stake-litigation law firm.”

GlobeSt.com was unable to reach Owens prior to deadline to discuss his plans for the new office and his take on how it will impact his firm.

As GlobeSt.com reported more than a decade ago, back in April 2003 Newmeyer & Dillion expanded its direct lease at 895 Dove St. here by 8,853 square feet to 34,682 square feet with the signing of a sublease.
