RALEIGH, NC-Kane Realty Corp. is expected to begin construction in December on its Tower Two office building here.

The 18-story, 300,000-square-foot office building will be larger than the 17-story CapTrust Tower, which Kane co-developed with Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corp. in 2009. Duke Realty sold its interest in the North Hills office building to KBS Realty Advisors for $98.5 million this past January, according to the Triangle Business Journal. The sale set a new price-per-square-foot record in the Triangle at $327 a square foot.

Mac Hammer of Synergy Commercial Advisors says they are close to signing several deals at Tower Two and he anticipates commitments of 90,000 square feet or more will be in hand by the time construction starts before year's end. See story in the Triangle Business Journal.
