LOGAN, NJ-Albert's Organics cut the ribbon on Wednesday on its new 70,000-square-foot distribution center and headquarters here.

The $10-million distribution center in the LogistiCenter at Logan is double the size of its previous facility nearby, which Albert's had occupied for approximately 15 years, according to the Inquirer.

Albert's is a subsidiary of United Natural Foods Inc., a Providence, RI-based company that is the largest distributor of natural, organic, and specialty products in the United States and Canada. United Natural bought Albert's in 1998 for about $11 million. See story in the Inquirer.
