ROBBINSVILLE, NJ-As online retailer Amazon begins construction on its “mega-warehouse” here, the location of the company's promised second “giant” warehouse to be built in New Jersey is still unknown.

Concrete walls and steel framework were erected last week at the project site for the Amazon distribution center at the Matrix Business Park, according to The Record.

“Construction is on track and we're excited to become a member of the Robbinsville business community,” Amazon spokeswoman Kelly Cheeseman says.

While Cheeseman says no location has been selected for its second warehouse project in the Garden State, there are indications the project could be housed in Woodbridge.

In March, KTR Capital Partners—which has partnered with Amazon in securing warehouses in Robbinsville, as well as in Indiana and Arizona—purchased a 950,000-square-foot warehouse complex from C&S Wholesale Grocers. See story in The Record.
