KENDALL, FL-Construction is now under way for Dick's Sporting Goods first location in Miami-Dade County.

The retailer is building a new 47,982-square-foot store at The Palms at Town & Country shopping center in Kendall, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The retailer, which has five existing locations in South Florida in: Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Pembroke Pines, Boynton Beach and West Palm Beach, expects to open the Kendall store this November.

The Palms at Town & Country nears the completion of its third phase of redevelopment that will include the introduction of new restaurants and retailers.
