ALEXANDRIA, VA-A start up company has proposed building the St. James Sports & Entertainment Complex, a 600,000-square-foot multipurpose facility at Hensley Park here.

The project, proposed by partners Kendrick F. Ashton, of Perella Weinberg Partners, a New York City-based financial services firm, and Craig A. Dixon, senior counsel at Smithfield Foods, include six indoor tennis courts, four batting cages, two NHL-size hockey rinks and an 80,000-square-foot multipurpose field house, according to the Washington Post.
