SANTA CLARA, CA-Cresa San Jose recently represented Vivax-Metrotech Corp.a leading provider of high-quality, utility-locating instrument solutions for underground utilities in a 65,289 SF office lease renewal.

Mike Michaels, Tait Reimers, and Mike Drew of Cresa handled the transaction for the property at 3521 Olcott Street, Santa Clara.

Vivax-Metrotech expanded the size of its Silicon Valley headquarters by 14,000 square feet to accommodate its facilities and business growth. The transaction was recently recognized by CoStar's “Select Top Five South Bay /San Jose Industrial Leases Signed in Q1 2013.”

The landlord, 5692 Eastgate, LLC, was represented by Michael Grado of CBRE.

Vivax-Metrotech, including its engineering facilities and manufacturing facilities, occupies the entire one-story, standalone office building. Neighboring companies include Palo Alto Networks, Mosys, and Oasys Design Systems.

According to Reimers, Vivax-Metrotech wanted to expand to fully occupy the building and use the outdoor space for product testing and demonstrations.
