CONCORD, NC-Carolinas HealthCare System plans to open its new more than $26-million rehabilitation hospital here next Monday.

CONCORD, NC-Carolinas HealthCare System plans to open its new more than $26-million rehabilitation hospital here next Monday.

The Carolinas Rehabilitation-Northeast facility, which totals 70,000 square feet, is located at 487 Lake Concord Road, near the Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast campus in this suburb of Charlotte.

Meanwhile, construction continues on the Carolina HealthCare System's $40-million rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospital on the Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville campus. The four-story, 86,500-square-foot facility is a venture of Carolinas HealthCare in partnership with Carolinas Specialty Hospital. See story in the Charlotte Business Journal.
