NEW YORK CITY-Investment firm Angelo Gordon is increasing its presence at 245 Park Ave. here by approximately 50,000 square feet.
The company is leasing the entire 24th and 25th floors in the 45-story building and is expanding its presence there by one floor. The company also occupies space on the 26th floor. The investment firm is relocating from space it leases on the 35th floor, according to Crain's New York Business, as part of the transaction.
Jerry Larkin, a senior executive at Brookfield Properties, the owner of the 1.8 million-square-foot tower, said Angelo Gordon decided to do the deal in order to accommodate its growth and have its offices on three consecutive floors. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's David Falk and Peter Shimkin represented Angelo Gordon and Brookfield Properties in the deal. See story in Crain's New York Business.
