BALTIMORE-After lodging some initial criticism about the design of the second phase of a 500-unit apartment project on Washington Hill, the Urban Design and Architectural Review Panel could grant its approval of the design by as early as next week.
The Jefferson Apartment Group has scored points with the panel by adding features to its design that encourage additional street-level interaction, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. Initially, the panel had complained of the building's few street level entrances.
The latest design features 10 private entrance stoops and 11 private terraces, and a loading dock and garage entry. The UDARP will once again review the design on July 18. See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
