CHARLOTTE, NC-Insurer The Allstate Corp. has signed a lease for 200,000 square feet of space at Innovation Park here.

The “good hands” company will relocate approximately 1,200 employees from properties nearby next year and in 2015, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

The park, which was acquired by BECO South in 2010, is now 93% leased with the Allstate transaction, according to Chris Epstein, president of BECO South. BECO acquired the 200-acre complex for $42 million. See story in the Charlotte Business Journal.
