PARAMUS, NJ-Commercial real estate brokerage firm The Goldstein Group reports it has launched an investment sales division that will be headed by real estate and finance veteran Bruce Shmilowitz.

With 30 years experience in investment sales, acquisitions and residential land development, Shmilowitz was appointed a director of the Paramus-based firm. For more than a decade, Shmilowitz worked for Roseland Property and its successor company, Starbare Associates, as the director of dispositions and director of land acquisitions.

Over the last several years, He has bought and sold investment properties from banks and estates and has also participated in a number of residential land developments. He has been instrumental in the marketing and sale of more than $300 million worth of properties, company officials say.
