NEW YORK CITY-Scotiabank has signed a lease for 100,000 square feet of office space at Brookfield Properties' 4 Brookfield Place here.

The Canadian banker will be relocating from leased space at Brookfield's 1 Liberty Plaza building to the 1.7-million-square-foot 4 Brookfield Place tower, according to Crain's New York Business.

Brookfield is also reportedly in discussions with law firm Jones Day on about a 400,000-square-foot-lease for the top floors of the 34-story, 4 Brookfield Place building. See story in Crain's New York Business.
