NEW YORK CITY-Kate Spade New Yorkis expanding by 39,000 square feet at 2 Park Ave., which brings the women's apparel design firm's space at the property to more than 135,000 square feet.
The company moved into the office tower owned by the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund two years ago and has agreed to pay in the mid $50s per square-foot for the lease that runs 11 years, according to The Real Deal.
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's David Falk and Jason Greenstein represented Kate Spade New York in the transaction, while Cushman & Wakefield's Tara Stacom, Whitten Morris, David Green, and Mitchell Arkin represented the building owner. See story in The Real Deal.
