FALLS CHURCH, VA-The General Services Administration has finalized a deal that will relocate the US Fish and Wildlife Service's headquarters from Ballston to approximately 183,000 square feet of space here.
The deal calls for Fish and Wildlife to relocate to Vornado Realty Trust's Seven Skyline Place office building at 5275 Leesburg Pike, according to the Washington Business Journal. The lease is expected to save the federal government more than $3.8 million over its 15-year term.
Fish and Wildlife, which employs approximately 800 workers, is expected to relocate its operations to the Falls Church property in the summer of 2014. The agency is consolidating from three buildings in Ballston, and the lease represents a reduction of about 72,200 square feet of space. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
