CHESTERFIELD, VA-This Richmond submarket is about to see its second new multifamily project get underway: a 255-unit apartment community will be built near Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center in CenterPointe, according to local media The Times Dispatch and Virginia Business.

Robinson Development Group plans to break ground for the project in the fourth quarter; when it does, it will be the second major apartment community developed in Chesterfield recently. The project costs, including purchase of 18 acres of land, clock in at more than $30 million.

The other apartment community is a $40 million project consisting of 17 two-story buildings with 368 units. Kotarides Developers is developing that project.
