WILMINGTON, DE-AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals has put its South Campus off Concord Pike here on the market for sale.
The properties include a four-story 203,602-square-foot building and a three-story, 153,949-square-foot building on 58-acres. The parcel has been approved for an additional 832,000 square feet of office space, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal. AstraZeneca intends to vacate the two properties by the end of next year.
Doug Rodio, an investment broker with Jones Lang LaSalle, who is marketing the property for sale, says, “There are a handful of potential users looking to move their businesses into all or a portion of this headquarters facility. We have also talked to several local and regional developers looking at the site because of its great location, existing infrastructure and high-quality construction.”
Earlier this month, AstraZeneca sold the Rollins building, a 15-story, 200,000-square-foot office building at 2200 Concord Pike here for $10.5 million. See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
