ATLANTA-Auction firm John Dixon & Associates reports that more than 120 bank-owned commercial, land and residential properties in Atlanta, Montgomery, AL, and Orlando, FL are scheduled to sell at auctions to be held in those respective cities later this month.
At the Atlanta auction to be held at the Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter/Dunwoody on Oct. 22, bidders will compete for approximately 48 properties, including a group of three office buildings on John Roberts Drive in Morrow, GA. "These buildings total 13,962 square feet, were built in 1997 and are situated on 1.35 acres with ample parking," states John Dixon, founder, CEO of John Dixon & Associates.
The Atlanta sale will include a number of commercial properties, including a shopping center in Stone Mountain, a former day care in Griffin, and a couple of poultry farms in Catoosa County, he adds.
The Oct. 23 auction at the Hilton Garden Inn East in Montgomery, AL will include dozens of residential lots, commercial land, a warehouse in Argo, and an office building in Andalusia.
The Oct. 25th auction at the Orlando Airport Marriott will offer approximately 28 Florida properties. A former 60-acre palm tree farm in Homestead, an office building in Daytona Beach, a former veterinary clinic in Ocala, and 10.72 acres just off Interstate 75 in Tampa are included in the auction.
"There are quite a few opportunities for investors on all three days. We have some nice office buildings, and a lot of residential and commercial land. I expect to see strong interest in that commercial land in Tampa. It is located next to a large Liberty Mutual Insurance office complex and has major hotel brands and restaurants in the same development," Dixon states.
