CAMDEN, NJ-The MD Anderson Cancer Center At Cooper opened its doors here today.

The $100-million cancer center is a partnership between Camden's Cooper University Health Care and the MD Anderson Cancer Center of Houston, according to The Inquirer.

The facility will house cancer specialists from a number of disciplines, as well as pathology, laboratory, diagnostic imaging and outpatient care services.

The center is now one of several major cancer facilities in the Philadelphia region that include the Fox Chase Cancer Center, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. See story in The Inquirer.
