WAYNE, NJ-Home appliance and electronics manufacturer Haier America will relocate its US headquarters from Broadway in Manhattan to an office building here.
The firm signed a 13-year, 58,387-square-foot lese at 1800 Valley Road, according to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, which exclusively represented the tenant in the transaction.
NGKF Vice Chairman David Simson and Associate Director Trevor Patterson, both based the brokerage firm's Rutherford, NJ office worked on the deal. Building owner BET Investments was represented by Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director David Stifelman.
“We are delighted to execute the strategy on behalf of Haier in this search to accommodate its vision with a location that can grow with its U.S. operations,” Newmark Knight Frank's Simson states.
The 1800 Valley Road building is located within a 2-million-square-foot office park that is home to Valley National Bank, UPS, the Toys 'R' Us headquarters, Hankook Tire, Boston Scientific Corp. and William Paterson University.
