UPPER SADDLE RIVER-Mack-Cali Realty affiliate Roseland Property gave a presentation on Thursday evening on its proposed mixed-use development at the 47-acre Pearson Education office property at 1 Lake St. here.

Pearson Education's lease at the Mack-Cali owned complex expires in December 2014. The company intends to relocate its Upper Saddle River operations to Hoboken.

Carl Goldberg of Roseland Property shared that finding a new tenant for the 495,000 square foot office complex has been “a very difficult chore” and the “efforts were to no avail,” according to The Record.

Two offices—one totaling 135,000 square feet and the other of 155,000 square feet—are part of the proposal. In addition, the firm has proposed building 240 luxury rental units and retail at the site. See story in The Record.
