NEW YORK CITY-Locally-based TF Cornerstone plans to build a high-rise building that would be the largest apartment building by unit total in the city.
The firm, according to an environmental impact statement on the project, plans to build a 40-story building at 606 West 57th St. that could include 1,189 units. TF Cornerstone offered an alternative to that plan that cuts the number of units to 848, but adds a 285-room hotel and more than 60,000 square feet of retail space, according to The Real Deal.
The developer hopes to obtain city approvals and complete the project in 2017. See story in The Real Deal.
