ORLANDO—CBRE has added Monica Perez Wonus to its Orlando Industrial Services Group. Wonus joins as an associate and will work with CBRE senior vice president David Murphy on industrial leasing assignments as well as building sales and business development throughout Central Florida.
“Monica's extensive finance and corporate banking background with institutions such as GE Capital, adds tremendous value and insight to the CBRE team,” says CBRE Orlando managing director Bill Moss. “Her ability to identify the components within a company's operation that greatly impact cash flow is critical in working with landlord and tenant clients.”
Prior to joining CBRE, Wonus served as a vice president and relationship manager within the Corporate & Institutional Group at PNC Bank. There she was charged with developing and managing key commercial banking relationships in the Central Florida area with annual revenues of $10 to $50 million.
Wonus started her commercial real estate career in 2004 with New York-based real estate firm The Rosen Group, where she focused on leasing and managing a retail portfolio in the Carolina's and Florida. She received her CCIM designation in 2010.
“Monica brings a strong financial real estate background along with an impressive ability to both win and execute new business,” says Murphy. “She will be a very important part of our team moving forward and we are excited to have her join us.”
