UNION CITY, GA-Consumer products giant Procter & Gamble has reportedly struck a deal to occupy a more than 1-million-square-foot industrial building in the Atlanta suburb of Union City.

The warehouse building is to be developed at Interstate 85 and Flat Shoals Road by Majestic Realty Co., according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble already occupies a smaller building in nearby Fairburn and will relocate to Union City upon the building's completion. The relocation and expansion will have the company occupying approximately 600,000 square feet of additional space in the Atlanta area market.

Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.'s Alan Clayton and Paul Roeser represented Procter & Gamble in the deal. Majestic Realty's Scott Brown, Stan Conway and Will Lombard represented the City of Industry, CA-based property owner. See story in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
