PHILADELPHIA-Homebuilder Toll Brothers Inc. is reportedly mulling a possible mixed-use development on a vacant parcel on Walnut Street here.

The Horsham, PA-based firm is said to be in negotiations to acquire 1911 Walnut St. Its plans would include a condominium tower building, a hotel, and retail space, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Castleway Properties of Ireland has owned the property since late 2007 when it bought the land from the Philadelphia Parking Authority for $36.7 million. The firm put the property on the market for sale in January 2013. See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
