BRIDGEWATER, NJ-Valeant Pharmaceuticals, which acquired eye care company Bausch & Lomb earlier this year, announced on Tuesday it will move its main New Jersey office here.

The firm, which received a $39.5-million grant to keep its operations in the Garden State, confirmed it will lease the 310,000-square-foot office building owned by SJP Properties at 400 Somerset Corporate Blvd. in Bridgewater. It currently operates out of space in Madison, NJ, , according to the Star-Ledger.

Under terms of the 10-year Grow New Jersey Assistance grant, the company will add 500 jobs during that term and retain its existing 274 positions in the state. Bausch & Lomb's manufacturing plant will remain in Rochester, NY. See story in the Star-Ledger.
