SECAUCUS, NJ-Internap Network Services Corp., a Cloud-hosting provider, has opened a new 101,500-square-foot data center here.
The Atlanta-based company says its expansion into One Enterprise Avenue North is part of a national strategy to build a data center footprint across the nation, with a particular emphasis on growth in and around the New York City area, according to NJBiz. The firm has 12 data centers in operation nationwide.
Mike Higgins, senior vice president of data center services at Internap, says the firm will shift customers to its new Secaucus data center building throughout 2014 from a Manhattan location on Eighth Avenue whose lease is near expiration.
