FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ-The Borough Council here voted unanimously to amend the land use and development code to rezone the High Mountain Road Golf Course to allow for residential housing on the golf course property.
The zone change, approved by the council on Tuesday, will facilitate a mixed-use project by Horsham, PA-based homebuilder Toll Brothers that would include 275 residences.
The plan calls for 60 single-family homes, 160 carriage homes and 55 affordable-housing units to be built on the 131-acre semi-private course. See story in The Record.
