NEW YORK CITY-Moviegoers in about 18 months will be able to have a waiter serve them filet mignon sliders, Thai coconut shrimp or grilled lemon chicken satay without missing a single minute of the film.
IPic, a South Florida-based chain of luxury theaters, has signed a lease deal for a 40,000 square-foot location at the South Street Seaport, according to the New York Post.
The facility at 11 Fulton St. in the Fulton Marketplace, is scheduled to open in mid-2015. The facility will feature 505-seats and eight auditorium IPic theaters. The movie theater operator currently has eight locations nationwide. See story in the New York Post.
