HARRISBURG, PA-The Corbett Administration handed out Christmas gifts totaling $133 million to 58 projects across the state.

The grant awards from Gov. Tom Corbett's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program are projected to create or retain 45,00 jobs in 24 counties in the state, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal. The awards were announced earlier this week.

Philadelphia County, led by a $5-million award to the Philadelphia Energy Solutions project, received the most state funding. Health care-related projects by Fox Chase, Thomas Jefferson University, Temple Health, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Christopher's also secured state funding.
