NEW YORK CITY-Scripps Networks Interactive has renewed and expanded its lease at 1180 Avenue of the Americas. The media company's new lease deal reportedly totals 120,721 square feet.

Scripps Networks, which owns such broadcast brands as HGTV, the Food Network and the Travel Channel, had previously occupied approximately 99,000 square feet at the office tower owned by HNA Group and Murray Hill Properties.

Garett Varricchio, Bret Varricchio and James Tamborlane of Murray Hill Properties represented the building owner. Samuel Clark of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. See story in the Commercial Observer.
