WHITE PLAINS, NY-The Building Owners and Managers Association of Westchester County reported on Monday that Ian Ceppos, senior managing director of Colliers International of Stamford, CT, was elected president of the organization.

Ceppos, a resident of Danbury, CT, has more than 10 years of commercial brokerage experience. Prior to joining Colliers recently, he worked for the Connecticut office of CBRE for seven years and previously worked for the Staubach Co. in New York City. During his career in commercial real estate he has been responsible for closing transactions in excess of $100 million.

BOMA Westchester swore into office its 2014 Officers and Directors at an event held on Dec. 5 at the Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains. Ceppos will serve as president of BOMA Westchester for a two-year term. Other officers elected and sworn in for the 2014 term were: William Bassett of Cushman & Wakefield (Vice President); Susan Curtis of RXR Realty (Secretary); and Catherine Morrissey of BioMed Realty Trust (Treasurer).

The organization also elected the following Directors: Dean Bender of Thompson & Bender, Sean Brown of Peel Properties, Art D'Estrada of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Vinny Finnegan of Mack-Cali Realty Corp., John Lomurno of GlobeOp Financial Services LLC, and Scott Tangredi of Reckson, a division of SL Green. Fred Scilliano of C.W. Brown, Inc., was elected Allied Representative.
