NEW YORK CITY-First Republic Bank has decided to renew its lease early and expand its presence at 1230 Ave. of the Americas by an additional 38,000 square feet.

The new deal with Tishman Speyer Properties, the owner of the building in Rockefeller Center, brings the bank's operations at the property to 150,000 square feet, according to the New York Post.

Frank Doyle and David Kleiner of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the bank in the transaction. The bank's new space is on the seventh floor of the building. The bank also leases part of the ground floor, and the entire second and third floors. See story in the New York Post.
