HOUSTON-The owner of the DCT Airtex Industrial Center here reports that Parsippany, NJ-based B& G Foods, Inc. has signed a full-building lease totaling 267,000 of space at the property.
The center, located in the North submarket of Houston, is owned by Denver-based DCT Industrial Trust Inc. The project was shell complete in October 2013. B&G Foods manufactures, sells and distributes a diversified portfolio of high quality, branded shelf-stable foods across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
“We are very pleased with the continued success of our Houston development projects,” states Justin Bennett, regional vice president of DCT Industrial. “The quick lease-up of DCT Airtex Industrial Center is another testament to the strong tenant demand we are seeing in Houston for modern, Class-A buildings in premier locations.”
Will Hedges of DCT Industrial represented the building owner in the deal. B&G Foods, Inc. was represented by David Munson and Michael Boyd of Boyd Commercial in the lease transaction.
